Ellis Davis Wins Blazer Creed Award at 国产AV

VALDOSTA — W. Ellis Davis of Georgia is the recipient of 国产AV’s 2024 Blazer Creed Award for Citizenship, Civility, and Integrity.

As the Blazer Creed states, 国产AV is a learning environment based on trust and mutual respect, in which open dialogue, vigorous debate, and the free exchange of ideas are welcome. The university is dedicated to the core values of community, including a commitment to practice the following:

Civility — A Blazer shows courtesy and compassion as well as respect for the dignity of every human being.

Integrity — Each Blazer is responsible for his or her own actions, and our community is stronger when we contemplate the context of our decisions and uphold the principles of trust and honesty.

Citizenship — Every Blazer has an interest in the wellbeing of the community and, therefore, a duty to stay informed, to make positive contributions, and to offer support to those who need help.

“I am so honored to be a Blazer Creed Award winner,” Davis said. “It has inspired me to continue living out the Blazer Creed, as I have strived to do every day at 国产AV.

“Every Blazer should take pride in our creed and practice these attributes to make the world around them better. I commit to doing so!”

Davis earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science at 国产AV on Dec. 14. 

“I thoroughly enjoyed my whole time at 国产AV, especially meeting new friends, the personal attention from professors, and the closeknit feel of our beautiful campus,” he shared. “I enjoyed the extracurricular activities and programs that brought many groups together. A few highlights were being chosen as an Eternal Flame, a Blazer Creed Award recipient, a KD Sweetheart, and Greek Achiever of the Year.”
