Dr. Jacqlyn Sanchez – 国产AV WGST Alumni 2008

In 2013, Jacqlyn Sanchez was stationed at Miss-aw-a Air Force base in Japan in various clinical areas as a Charge Nurse, Labor and Delivery Nurse, and Family Health Nurse. She immediately was tasked to augment the Health Care Integrator, where she led a 6 person team, cleared a 2 month backlog, and ensured a seamless transition for nearly 2,000 military members and their families. She led the base “Right Start” program for the medical group, and filled critical nursing gaps in the Maternal Neonatal Unit, Obstetrics clinic, and Urgent Care Clinics allowing for the sustainment of 24/7 operations and access to care.

Although her career has been marked with many professional accomplishments, she is also notably known for her advocacy for fellow nurses and perseverance while faced with adversity.

In 2018, Dr. Sanchez began as a Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner and presently works at Midi Health which is a virtual care platform focused on female midlife health. The care is designed by world class experts in perimenopause, menopause, and more to help women feel strong and healthy through a critical chapter of their lives and careers.

The Women’s and Gender Studies program is honored to have such a distinguish alumni. We congratulate Dr. Sanchez on her career accomplishments and successes!
